A Level D academic is expected to make a significant contribution to all activities of the organisational unit or interdisciplinary area and play a significant role within their profession or discipline. Academics at this level may be appointed in recognition of distinction in their disciplinary area. The appointee will develop, teach and administer undergraduate and postgraduate units within the School. She/he will also be responsible for undertaking activities that maintain and develop scholarly research and the professional activities that are related to the discipline.
Key Selection Criteria
Contribute to curriculum development, innovation, enhancement and quality assurance in the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum.
Develop and deliver innovative and excellent teaching, learning and assessment experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Conduct world class research, maintaining an active record of high-quality publication, grants, and PhD student supervision.
Contribute to the development and implementation of a research strategy for School of Pharmacy consistent with the research priorities of Monash University Malaysia and Monash University.
Contribute to the development of strong collaborations with other universities and with government, industry and/or civil society to drive research impact and educational excellence.
Obtain competitive research funding to support the discipline’s research endeavours.
Contribute to the management of education, research and/or administration in the School, including coaching, mentorship, leadership and effective performance management.
Undertake administrative responsibilities primarily connected with the units taught including course review, admission and accreditation processes
