The Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, is seeking a dynamic and forward thinking Director of Systematic Evaluation and Compliance in Nursing. The Systematic Evaluation and Compliance Director conducts the development, assessment, and coordination of student learning outcomes, assists in the evaluation of academic programs, integrates assessment activities and results with accreditation processes, disseminates information among administrative staff and faculty, and provides developmental sessions as needed.
The Director manages systematic planning for improvements within the College of Nursing by administering a comprehensive, ongoing, assessment of student learning outcomes and evaluation of academic programs. As an engaged leader at the College, the Director also conducts, coordinates and communicates the reporting of assessment activities and the evaluation of programs, and implements initiatives that support the mission, values, and strategic initiatives of the College.
Applicants must have a terminal degree, preferably in Nursing or Health Related field. All applicants must have experience with formal assessment processes and teaching in higher education is required. Nurses must be eligible for or hold current nursing license for the state of Oklahoma.
The College of Nursing has multiple relationships with community partners including but not limited to, OU Medical Systems, Stephenson Cancer Center, Donald W. Reynolds Center for Geriatric Nursing Excellence, Jonas Foundation, Leadership Education for Health Professionals Caring for Children and Youth with Disabilities (LEND), Center on Child Abuse and Neglect (CCAN), and oversees a Case Management program for a large network of Oklahomans receiving care through the State of Oklahoma ADvantage program.
The College of Nursing is one of seven health-related colleges located at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. The campus is the state’s major educational resource for health professionals in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, public health and allied health. The Graduate College is the center of advanced study, research, and creative activity in the health sciences.
