The Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences at the University at Buffalo (UB), The State University of New York, invites applications for a 10-month tenure-track Assistant Professor in Speech-Language Sciences or Disorders.
Faculty are expected to develop and maintain an independent, outstanding program of research, actively seek extramural research support from federal agencies and foundations, and publish in excellent peer-reviewed journals. Faculty also are expected to teach three courses per year in the department at the graduate and or undergraduate level and engage in service to the Department, University, and the profession appropriate to the academic rank. We particularly encourage applications from individuals with expertise in acquired brain injury, cognitive aspects of communication, language science, and or adult language disorders.
Completed applications are due November 1, 2019. Priority will be given to applications completed by October 15th.
