Gonzaga University’s Department of Nursing seeks to fill a 12- month, full-time administrative position beginning in Fall 2018. We are particularly interested in applicants who can provide strong, supportive leadership to a department with a campus-based BSN program and large online MSN and DNP programs with nurse practitioner and nursing administrative/leadership tracks. The ideal candidate will be an experienced nurse educator and administrator with high academic standards, the ability to build collaborative relationships, and a solid record of teaching, program development, and assessment preferably in BSN, MSN, and DNP programs. This individual will also have recent administrative experience in leading a nursing education program in the role of Assistant or Associate Dean, Director, or Department Chair.
Minimum Qualifications: * DNP or PhD in Nursing or related field; if PhD is not in nursing, then a master’s degree in nursing is required
Recent experience as a Department Chair, Director, or an Assistant or Associate Dean
3-5 years of experience teaching in an accredited BSN or higher degree nursing education program
Experience in curriculum development
Eligible for an unencumbered Washington registered nurse license
