The School of Dental Hygiene educates both undergraduate and graduate students in the Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene (entry-level and online post-licensure programs) and the Master’s of Science in Dental Hygiene (on-campus, online, or hybrid). The school maintains an on campus Dental Hygiene Care Facility that provides quality preventive care by dental hygiene students to ODU students, faculty, staff, and the local community. Care provided by dental hygiene students is directly supervised by licensed dental hygiene faculty. Incoming faculty will be expected to maintain an active program of teaching, service, and research, which includes mentoring graduate students in research.
