Springfield College seeks applications for an Assistant Professor for Nutrition and Exercise Science within the Department of Exercise Science and Athletic Training. This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track appointment within the School of Physical Education, Performance and Sport Leadership beginning August 2021. Expertise in the field, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and a strong commitment to scholarly and service activities are expected. Preference will be given to candidates who can bring diverse perspectives to this growing department and who are motivated to help students succeed.

Interested candidates for this position will have an earned doctorate from a regional accredited institution in Nutritional Sciences or related discipline. Applicants who are ABD for the terminal degree may be considered depending on expected completion date. The ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate Nutritional Sciences courses. The ideal candidate will possess an RD and have expertise in exercise science and sport nutrition.
