Touro University invites applications for a full-time 12-month faculty position in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at our Long Island Campus teaching Anatomy and other related topics. Join our collaborative supportive faculty in preparing the DPTs of the future.


  • We are seeking candidates with expertise in Anatomy and Clinical medicine.
  • The program does not utilize cadavers but a background in gross anatomy is preferred.
  • The responsibilities of the position include teaching, scholarship, professional service, student advisement, and participation in departmental and college wide committees.


Highly desirable qualifications include:

  • Academic Doctorate (Ph.D. Ed.D. D.Sc.).
  • Previous teaching experience in higher education
  • Five years of clinical experience
  • Record of scholarship as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.

Doctoral candidates will also be considered. The candidiate does not need to be a physical therapist.
