This is a graduate research assistant position. The research assistant is expected to create two independent web pages, associated with funded work. Furthermore, the assistant is expected to work on speeding up R programs and implementing those in Python.

The graduate student assistant will perform the following tasks:

  • create two web pages that are able to interface
  • work with statistical scientists to speed up R programs implementing the methods developed
  • implement R programs in Hadoop
  • data management tasks
