Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor
The College of Nursing at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, invites applications for a full-time 12-month, non-tenure track, Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor faculty position. Candidates with expertise in the area of Community Health are sought to teach our highly qualified student body. Successful candidates responsibilities will also include 80% teaching, 10% scholarship, and 10% service & outreach appointment.

The College of Nursing, accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, offers twice per year undergraduate admission to the traditional BSN program. The online RN to BSN program offers admission each semester with pathways for associate degree nurses and students currently enrolled in associate degree programs. We offer master’s and doctoral graduate programs with Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Educator, DNP, and PhD options.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Nursing with specialty preparation in Community Health at time of employment. Demonstrated current clinical experience required. Candidates must be eligible for or maintain a current clinical or Nurse Educator certification at the time employment begins.
Desired Qualifications
Doctoral degree and teaching experience in a baccalaureate program at the time employment begins.

Candidates must be eligible for Alabama RN license, must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment; must have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
