    The University of Hawai′i at Mānoa School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene (SONDH) (http://www.nursing.hawaii.edu/home) is the premier nursing program and the only doctoral/research university-intensive institution in the State of Hawai′i.  SONDH provides instructional, clinical and research activities to enhance the health and care of diverse populations in the State of Hawai′i and the Asia-Pacific region.  SONDH is committed to fulfilling its vision as the state’s leading institution for nursing education and research.  The school is located on the flagship campus for the UH System in Mānoa Valley on the island of O‘ahu. 

    The SONDH invites YOU to join this energetic and growing school. Three (3) tenure-track faculty positions   in numbers 70026, a 9-Month Associate or Full Professor position; 82768 and 85384, both an 11-Month Assistant or Associate Professor positions, are available in 2019.

    Specific priorities include undergraduate and graduate nursing education and research in support of the school’s research agenda to address health disparities in Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander populations. The positions are designated to transcend traditional academic boundaries and focus on cross disciplinary solutions to nursing and health issues facing Native Hawaiian and other Indigenous communities.
