Job Description
The selected candidate will be expected to provide excellent instruction in 4 undergraduate exercise science courses each Fall/Spring semester and engage in service to the department, college, university, and/or discipline, which may include mentoring students/faculty and/or community engagement. We seek a candidate that provides engaging, organized, and evidence-based instruction in multiple courses including but not limited to:
Introduction to Exercise Science (EXSC 225);
Care and Prevention of Injuries Related to Physical Activity (EXSC 240);
Exercise Physiology I (EXSC 326);
Exercise Physiology II (EXSC 327);
Nutrition for Fitness and Sport (EXSC 408);
Biomechanics (EXSC 417); and
Research Methods in Exercise Science (EXSC 420).
Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities
Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate exercise science coursework and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Minimum Qualifications - Education or training
Candidates must have earned a Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or similar content area by no later than July 25th, 2024.
