    Adjunct Faculty, School of Communication Disorders and Deafness


    American Sign Language- to teach courses in ASL at the Union campus. Openings are available for the spring, summer and fall semesters.


    Speech-Language Pathology - to teach undergraduate courses, graduate courses or perform clinic supervision in speech-language pathology at the Union campus. All classes are in-person, as is clinical supervision. Availability to teach weekdays, evenings and Saturdays. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP and NJ licensure are required. Teaching and clinical experience preferred.  Openings are available for the spring, summer and fall semesters.


    All adjunct positions require a Master’s degree in a related field and teaching experience unless otherwise indicated; candidates with an ABD, Ed.D., Ph.D. or other acceptable disciplinary doctorate are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in a Learning Management System (LMS), such as Blackboard or Canvas and Online Learning Pedagogy is required of all adjuncts, consistent with University guidelines. Kean may offer free voluntary LMS workshops to otherwise qualified applicants.
