    Overview


    The REACH Lab (Research on Ethics, Aging, and Community Health) is dedicated to mitigating health disparities and improving healthcare decision-making. REACH Lab incorporates multidisciplinary approaches to better understand the social mechanisms underlying health disparities, with the goals of improving patient-centered decision-making at the individual level, and informing health policies at the population level. Our research partners include patients, families, clinicians, community-members, patient advocates, community organizations, health care centers, academics, and policy makers.



    What You'll Do


    Under close supervision of Principal Investigator, the research coordinator will support, facilitate, and coordinate daily research activities. The research coordinator will be responsible for the below:



    • Managing IRB documentation

    • Creating recruitment materials

    • Recruiting participants

    • Administering surveys, interviews, and focus groups

    • Facilitating use of decision aids

    • Managing and analyzing data

    • May train and supervise undergraduate students, participate in research design, and prepare results for publication and dissemination



    What We're Looking For


    Basic Requirements:



    • Knowledge and skills as typically acquired by a Bachelor's degree with relevant research experience


    Preferred Qualifications:



    • Familiarity with facilitating qualitative assessments

    • Experience with data analysis software (e.g. SPSS)


    Special Work Schedule Requirements:


    This role involves travel within the Boston metro area on a weekly basis to interact with study participants and collaborators. 


     


    Pay Range

    Minimum $19.80, Midpoint $23.55, Maximum $27.30

    Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
