There are many opportunities for research collaborations within the school, college, university, and with hospitals and military bases locally in the Hampton Roads region.

We are looking for candidates with a nationally recognized research program and a strong track record of securing external grant funding to elevate the research profile of our school and college while also mentoring junior faculty. Teaching responsibilities will be in the Kinesiology and Rehabilitation PhD, with some teaching in the B.S. and M.S. Exercise Science programs. The candidate will also be expected to mentor students in the Kinesiology and Rehabilitation doctoral program. Some service to the school, college, university, and profession is expected.
