    Job Summary


     

    The College of Nursing is hiring for a Research Fellow position.
    This role supports and conducts original research to include planning, maintaining or completing research programs and/or projects involved in the discovery of new knowledge, techniques, and concepts which require advanced level scientific/research knowledge, skills and abilities following relevant policies, procedures, regulations and laws.

     

    Essential Functions
    • Working with muscle models to identify the potential mechanism of chronic pain caused by myofascial pain symptoms.

    • Performing clinical testing and with various study populations.

    • Performing data analysis for large dataset.

    • Supervising Graduate and Undergraduate Students.

    • Sharing general house-keeping duties with other staff working in the office of Associate dean for research.

    • Presenting data, current projects and results at internal seminars and at external meetings and conferences as required.

    • Assisting in manuscript and grant writing.

    • Following Auburn University health and safety policies and other rules as appropriate.
