A Level A academic is expected to make contributions to the teaching effort of the university, particularly at undergraduate and graduate diploma level and to carry out activities to develop her/his scholarly, research and/or professional expertise relevant to the profession or discipline.

The position is based at the Main Campus, Bandar Sunway. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a new Master's program under the Department of Global Population Health, delivering the vertically integrated Health Economics module within the MD program, and conducting high-quality research that contributes to the School’s strategic priorities.

Reporting line: The position reports to the Professor

Key responsibilities

1. Support the delivery of innovative and excellent teaching, learning and assessment experiences for undergraduate students


2. Contribute to research activities within the School, starting to develop a publication record and/or making satisfactory progress in their PhD training


3. Provide support for collaborations with other universities and with government, industry and/or civil society to drive research impact and educational excellence


4. Support the management of education, research and/or administration in the School

Key selection criteria

Education/Qualifications

1. A master's qualification or equivalent in Health Economics


2. Demonstrated ability to teach in a university environment


3. Potential to produce excellent research


4. Demonstrated teamwork skills
