Job Description
Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) School of Nursing is searching for a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor. This individual must possess an MSN in nursing, with a PhD or DNP preferred from an accredited institution. A strong background in medical-surgical practice, along with ICU settings is necessary. Experience in academia is preferred, including knowledge in a variety of teaching strategies in classroom and clinical settings. As application-based learning is a key teaching strategy used in the School of Nursing, experience with teaching in laboratory settings, including use of simulation, is preferred. This position will also include the responsibilities of curriculum development, course coordination, committee involvement and advising.
