The Leading a Sustainability Transition in Nutrition Globally (LASTING) Project is a new, 4.5-year, transdisciplinary effort focused on addressing major gaps in sustainable diets research and policy at the Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. We are recruiting a postdoctoral scholar to research consumer preferences in sustainable foods and diets. The position is for a two-year period starting in Spring 2022 in Boston, MA with annual renewal conditional on performance; further extension of the appointment is possible contingent on funding availability.
Successful applicants are expected to hold a PhD/DrPH/ScD in economics, applied economics, quantitative public policy, marketing, or a related field at the time of appointment. A strong record of original, first-author, publications is essential. Candidates should have familiarity with survey and experimental design and data collection, proficiency using appropriate statistical software (preferably R or STATA), excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently and with collaborators.
