Past scholarly efforts have focused on the anatomy and biomechanics of the foot and ankle investigating both normal and abnormal foot types and how they respond to different orthotic interventions while under exertional stress. In addition, Dr. Elliott also exhibits a research interest in the teaching and assessment of professionalism of doctor of physical therapy students during the affiliative process.
