Dr. Maureen Kennedy received her Dr.P.H. (2011) and M.S. (2004) in Epidemiology from New York Medical College School of Health Sciences and Practice and is currently an assistant professor of Public Health. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania she received a B.A. in Biology and a B.S. in Medical Technology. Dr. Kennedy’s graduate work includes accurately identifying causes for a hospital based bacterial outbreak and her doctoral studies concluded with a dissertation which successfully defended her study on risks associated with bacterial transmission amongst intravenous drug users.
