Expertise: Professor Stopler’s interests are in life cycle nutrition, community nutrition, and sustainability. She was active in starting an edible school garden in her local school district which is still active today, 15 years later. She has been a board member of the Westchester/Putnam/Rockland Lactation Consortium, Inc. (now the Tristate Breastfeeding Association), and the New York Milk Bank. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Westchester Rockland Dietetic Association (WRDA) and Slow Food USA.
