Expertise: Our work focuses on the determinants of the nutritional status of the elderly in connection with brain and cognitive health. In addition, we are interested in the physiological functions of vitamin K, its metabolism in normal and pathological conditions, and its role in anticoagulation therapy. Our research activities include work of a fundamental and clinical nature.

Role of vitamin K in brain functions and cognition: mechanistic studies in animals and clinical interventions.
Influence of vitamin K status on the stability of anticoagulation therapy in patients treated with warfarin sodium.
Nutritional and metabolic aspects of cognitive aging.
