Professor Bernard-Simon Leclerc is interested in social epidemiology, social determinants, social inequalities in health, social challenges of health services, analysis of networks of social relationships and the evaluation of participatory and intersectoral practices, programs and interventions in general. He is also interested in clinical and epidemiological research on the problems afflicting vulnerable elderly people as well as in evaluative research on the hospital and community health services offered to them. Finally, he conducts research in public health nutrition with pregnant women from disadvantaged backgrounds.
