Expertise: Dr. Griswold's research interests involve the identification of unjust social barriers to breastfeeding and understanding how implicit biases of health care professionals contribute to poor health outcomes for marginalized populations. She is interested in how racism influences infant feeding outcomes, the experiences of women living with HIV and breastfeeding and structural barriers to breastfeeding such as neighborhood socioeconomic status.
