As Director of the Health Services Management bachelors program in the School of Allied Health Sciences at East Carolina University, Dr. Kulesher teaches in several areas in healthcare administration including finance, reimbursement, operational management, long term care, and health policy. Course contact is delivered both in traditional class room setting and via the internet.
Dr. Kulesher received his B.S. from Villanova University, his Master of Health Administration (MHA) from Washington University in St. Louis, and his PhD from the University of Delaware. Prior to his academic career, H Dr. Kulesher was a hospital and nursing home administrator for over 20 years. His research interest include national health policy, healthcare financial management, health care of the poor and uninsured, health insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Heatlhcare Executives (FACHE) since 1987.
