Expertise: The primary focus of Dr. Aplin-Kalisz's research is pediatric obesity as well as adolescent risk factors and a variety of graduate nursing education topics including selection processes, testing methods and student outcomes. She also researches clinical practice improvement topics jointly with DNP students. Her interests include pediatric obesity, pediatrics, adolescent risk factors and various aspects of disease management.
