The department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health is a dynamic workplace with a strong commitment to improving population health for over 100 years. We are seeking candidates for two Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor HS (tenure eligible) positions in the Graduate Public Health Program with a focus in aging research including, but not limited to, frailty, cancer, women’s health, health services, and cognition/dementia. Successful candidates will join a University-wide multidisciplinary team of public health faculty and be part of the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health (EEH). These are calendar year (12-month), tenure eligible positions, fully funded by New York State. Faculty members will:
- Be expected to be research productive: bringing grant funding, applying for and winning grants and producing peer-reviewed publications.
- Be expected to teach 1 course (3-4 credit hours) per semester.
- Be expected to make contributions to the scholarship and service missions of the School of Public Health and Health Professions (SPHHP) and assist in the development and delivery of curriculum on aging and population health.
