The College of Nursing and Health Sciences, at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for full-time Nursing faculty positions on the tenure, clinical, and teaching tracks. These are on-site positions.

Assistant Teaching Professor (Adult Nursing) 
Assistant/Associate Professor – Tenure Track (Adult Nursing)
Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor (Adult Nursing)
Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor (Community Nursing)
Assistant/Associate Professor -Tenure Track (Community Nursing)

Applicants for the tenure track positions will have an earned research doctorate in Nursing (PhD), or related field or its equivalent, a Master’s in Nursing degree with clinical specialization or its equivalent. The candidate will have a scholarship agenda focused in one of the following areas, Adult Health, Chronic Illness, Nursing Education, Informatics, Data Science, Family Health (Maternity or Pediatric), Mental Health, Global Public Health, Health Disparities, or Population Health. Applicants must have a successful record of teaching with the ability to sustain a program of funded research, secure external funding, and participate in community outreach. Applicants must have RN licensure in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure. Based on qualifications, faculty teach across all program levels. Additional responsibilities include student advisement and service. Salary will be highly competitive and an appointment with tenure is possible depending on qualifications, experience, and evidence of scholarly accomplishments. The preferred applicants will have an established program of research and advance certification.

Applicants for the clinical track position (non-tenure) will have a clinical doctorate in Nursing (DNP) or earned research doctorate in Nursing (PhD) or related field or its equivalent, with clinical specialization in one of the following areas: Adult Health, Chronic Illness Management, Nursing Education, or Informatics and Data Science, Family Health (Maternity or Pediatric), Women’s Health, Mental Health, or Health Disparities, Health Disparities, or Population Health. Applicants must have RN licensure in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure including APRN licensure as appropriate for the position; 3 or more years of recent clinical practice experience; and 1 or more years of teaching experience or its equivalent. Based on qualifications, faculty teach across all program levels. Additional responsibilities include student advisement, scholarship, and service.

Applicants for the teaching track will have a master’s degree in Nursing, RN licensure in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure, a minimum of two years of full-time or full-time equivalent didactic/clinical teaching, and recent practice experience. Based on qualifications, faculty teach across program tracks and levels. Additional responsibilities include student advisement and service.

Salary will be highly competitive.
