Graduate Nursing - Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor (Remote)
Job Description:
The Davis & Henley College of Nursing (DHCON) has a thriving and growing online program offering RN to BSN/MSN, MSN programs in nurse management/executive leadership, education, clinical nurse leadership, Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, as well as a Hybrid Post Masters DNP program and an FNP-DNP Hybrid Program. We are currently searching for a visiting faculty member at the rank of assistant or associate professor for a semester by semester appointment.
This position will have primary teaching responsibilities in the online FNP program. Dual certification as an FNP and PMHNP is a plus. The position requires travel to campus several times a year as requested by the program director.
The successful candidate will be able to contribute to a college environment based upon mutual respect and collegiality and will value the University's Catholic identity, tradition and spirit, and will support the University's commitment to community service, strategic planning, and the intellectual and ethical development of all students.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

FNP national certification and APRN current licensure

An earned doctorate in nursing or related field

Previous online graduate teaching experience

Primary Care experience
-
Current FNP practice

Evidence of scholarship
