The Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology and Health Promotion, special title series, tenure eligible. This position is in the Special Title Series, tenure-eligible, and requires the faculty member to teach 21-24 credits per year; contribute to the department in service; and teach at the graduate level as needed. The candidate may teach classes including but are not limited to: Sociology and Psychology of Sport, History and Philosophy of Sport, Intro to Tests and Measurements, Intro to Exercise Testing and Prescription, Nutrition for Physical Fitness, Strength and Conditioning for Sports, Introduction to Fitness, Introduction to Coaching, and others according to department need. The candidate may have the opportunity to serve on graduate student thesis and exam committees.

The Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion within the College of Education at the University of Kentucky is seeking candidates for a tenure-eligible Assistant or Associate Professor position (Ph.D., Ed.D. or equivalent), effective August 16, 2024. The Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion (KHP), housed in the College of Education, is comprised of 25 full-time faculty members and offers undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs in the academic areas of exercise science, physical education, health promotion, and sport leadership. KHP serves as the academic focus for more than 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students who are seeking degree programs in the department.
