Dr. McEnany’s interests include sleep and its relationship to psychiatric illness. He has a strong interest in psychobiology and psychopharmacology and has been teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in these areas for many years. He maintains a small private practice in Boston. His current research is exploring the impact of gabapentin on sleep and hot flash regulation in midlife women.
Dr. McEnany is the author/co-author of over 60 publications. He serves on the editorial boards for The Journal of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and is an associate editor for Issues in Mental Health Nursing.
